David Brain, Chief Oerating Officer of Symphony Ventures has been named consultant of the year at the National Outsourcing Association’s Professional Awards at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. The awards , now in their fourth year, the awards reward the contributions of individuals and teams in 16 categories.
Rising Star of the Year was Tom Morris, a manager in KPMG’s sourcing advisory practice, Other consulting firms featured included Accenture, which won two of the awards: Excellence in BPO (Private Sector) with the Royal Sun Alliance BPO Team, while its Digital Operations Team based in Hyderabad, India was named Best Shared Services Team. Elixirr won the Excellence in IT Transformation for its work with Barclays Africa, while the Excellence in Outsourced Customer Service went to Capita and BBC Audience Services.
